Sunday
I invoke Thee, lord, author of
all creation, who spreadest Thy wings over the whole world, Thou, the
unapproachable and immeasurable who breathest into every soul life-giving Mind,
who fittedst all things together by Thy power, firstborn, founder of the
universe. Hear me, holy God, Great Invisible Spirit who dwellest among the holy
ones, under whom the Glorious Ones stand continually.
I call upon Thee, forefather, and
beseech Thee, eternal one, eternal ruler of the Kosmos, Aion standing far above
the 7 Spheres, IALDAZAŌ BLATHAM MAKHŌR PHRIX AĒ KEŌPH EĒA DUMEŌ PHERPHRITHŌ
IAKHTHŌ PSUKHEŌ PHIRITHMEŌ RŌSERŌTH THAMASTRAPHATI RIMPSAŌKH IALTHE MEAKHI
ARBATHANŌPS. Thou, who holdest the primeval root, who possessest the
powerful name which hath been consecrated by all the Gods, supreme, exalted
one. I sing to Thee, Monad, I sing to Thee, Triad; Thou art the One who decreed
that all things should be divided into three; and all things were thus divided,
yet retained their unity in Thee. I call upon Thee, Lord of the universe, in an
hour of need; hear me, for my soul is distressed and I am perplexed and
enchained by material bonds. Wherefore come to me, Thou who art lord over all,
raise my soul, liberate me from my present state, unclothe me from my material
vestures, so that naked having fallen from Thee, so naked I may be reunited
with Thee. Hear me Lord, lord, because I call upon Thy secret name which
extendeth from the firmament to the earth, ATHĒZOPHŌIM ZADĒAGĒŌBĒPHIATHEAA
AMBRAMI ABRAAM THALKHILTHOE ELKŌTHŌŌĒĒ AKHTHŌNŌN SA ISAK KHŌĒIOURTHASIŌ IŌSIA
IKHĒMEŌŌŌŌ AŌAEI, save me in this hour of need.
Monday
Hail unto Thee the self begotten,
eternal God. Thou who art the mind’s source of intelligence, the Creator of the
Gods, Shaper of the spirit, Nourisher of the soul, Fountain of fountains,
Origin of origins, Root of roots. Thou art the Unity of unities, Number of
numbers, at once Monad and Number, Mind and Intellect, the knowable and
unknowable, One and All, and the One of All, and the One before All, the seed
of all things, the root and the branch, and nature in whatsoever is endowed
with intelligence the female element and the male. Thou didst separate the
earth from heaven, darkness from light, day from night, rising from setting,
life from death, and generation from corruption. Come, grant me Thine
imperishable light, and give me Thy mercy! My Redeemer, redeem me, for I am
Thine; the one who hath come forth from Thee. Thou art my mind; bring me forth!
Thou art my treasure house; open for me! Thou art my fullness; take me to Thee!
Thou art my repose; give me the perfect thing that cannot be grasped! I invoke
Thee, the one who is and who pre-existed by Thy 7 lettered name which is
exalted above every name, AEĒIOUŌ, the King of the ages; give me Thy gifts,
whereof Thou dost not repent. Give me authority when I beseech Thee; give
healing for my body when I implore Thee, and redeem my eternal light soul and
my spirit. And the mysteries of the Pleroma of grace reveal them to my mind!
Grant what no God hath seen and no daimon hath heard, and what hath not entered
into the human heart, since I have faith and hope. And place upon me Thy
beloved, elect, and blessed greatness, the First-born, the First-begotten, and
the wondrous mystery of Thy spirit.
Tuesday
AAA EEE ĒĒĒ III OOO UUU ŌŌŌ,
I invoke Thee, the living God, Thou invisible begetter of life and light,
crowned as king of the Gods. Come to me, Thou incorruptible, unapproachable
one, who didst create all that is, mortal and immortal. Glorious one, not even
for Gods it is lawful to gaze steadfastly on Thy fiery countenance, Thou clear,
brilliant, and all-encompassing cosmic eye. Roof of the world, Thou the Light,
everywhere visible, of primal things, wise certainty and wisdom’s Fountain,
Mind hidden by Thine own bright rays, Eye of Thyself, Master of the
thunderbolt, Father of the Aions, Immortal higher than the Gods, higher than
intellects which Thou turnest to one side of the other. Thou who enlightenest
the universe, and by Thine own power illuminest the whole world. Thou art the
Generator, Thou the Generated; Thou the Light that shineth, Thou the Illumined;
Thou what is revealed, Thou that which is hidden in Thine own beams; The One
and All, the One Self-contained and dispersed through all things. God of Gods,
benefactor; Thou who art seated at the summit of the world and judgest the
universe, surrounded by the circle of truth and honesty, be Thou gracious unto
me and let Thy presence be manifest in me now, for I know Thy holy names and I
invoke them with fire and spirit, OISPAĒ IAŌ OUEA SEMESILAM AĒOI KHOLOUE
ARAARAKHARARA ĒPHTHISIKĒRE ŌĒEUAIĒ OIAI EAĒ EAĒ ŌEA BORKA BORKA PHRIX RIX ŌRZA
ZIKH MARTHAI OUTHIN LILILILAM LILILILŌOU AAAAAAA ŌŌŌŌŌŌŌ MOUAMEKH AĒŌ ŌĒA ĒŌA
EI AI OAI, Come to me God of Gods, AĒŌĒI ĒI IAŌ AE OIŌTK. Hear me
Lord, Father of the Universe, descend, let Thy spirit awaken in me, let me be
reborn in Thy presence, lord, God, Aion of Aions, ruler of the all.
Wednesday
UOĒEŌAI ŌAI UOĒEAI UOĒEŌ EREPE
EUA NARBARNE ZAGEGŌĒ ĒKHRAĒM KAPHNAMIAS PSIIPHRI PSAIARORKIPHKA BRAKIŌ
BOLBALOKH SIAILASI MAROMALA MARMISAI BIRAITHATHI ŌO. I glorify Thee living
incorruptible God, the Self-begotten, the primeval power, preserved by the
spirit of providence and by wisdom. All things are in thee; all things come
from thee, thou givest all things, and takest nothing; for thou hast all things
and there is nothing that thou hast not. Thou art all things, and there is
nothing else thou art not. Thou art all that is made, and all that is not made.
The mind that understandeth. The father that maketh his work. The God who
acteth. Thou holdest the bounds of the whole world.
Thine are the beginning and the
end to come. Thou art good that doth all things. Thou who didst create all
things by the command of Thy voice.
Blessed are the souls who are
born from Thy radiance by the thread of a mighty destiny. Thou from whom my own
soul arose. O Father, let Thy grace be with me. Be full of goodness unto me,
Blessed One, be full of goodness to me, Father, if beyond what is ordered, if
beyond what is destined, I touch upon that which is Thine. To Thee, God, ruler
of progeneration, I send speech offerings. God – Thou, father; Thou, Lord;
Thou, Mind, who beholdest the essence of the Universe – accept from me what
speech Thou wishest. For everything is accomplished by Thy will. Plant in me
the Truth, the undying crop that beareth immortal fruit. Extend Thy wondrous
rays upon the soil of my being that it may grow in Thee. My soul, clad in
mighty intellect, having issued forth from Thee, let me come again to mine
origin whence I went forth.
Thursday
Hail God of Gods, Aion of Aions,
root of the universe. Hail unto Thee, Centre of existing things, Monad of
numbers immortal, of kings that existed not before thee.
Thou art Father, art Mother, Thou
Male, Thou Female, Thou Voice, Thou Silence, of nature the fruitful Nature.
Thou art he to whom I pray, O
Father of all fatherhoods, and God of all gods, and Lord of all lords; I invoke
Thee by Thy most holy and incorruptible names, ZAZAZAOU, ZŌTHZAZŌTH
THŌZAXAZŌTH KHENOBINUTH, ATHANNU, ŌZĒ, ŌZAEŌZ, KROBIALATH. Fountain of pure
wisdom, kindle in my mind a flame of intellect out of Thy bosom, and illumine
my heart with a gleam of Thine imperishable wisdom. Give this as a symbol of
the sacred way to Thee, even Thine own seal. Chase from my life and from my
prayer the daimons of matter, preserve my body safe and sound from the approach
of spiteful violence, and guard in my safety my spirit unpolluted, O King, so
that I may be fit to receive the sublime gift of Thy Gnosis and may not sink
into the wretched stream of forgetfulness.
I carry on me already the
darkling stain of Matter, and am held fast by desires, by earthly chains. But
Thou art my liberator, Thou my purifier. Release me from evils, from illness,
from fetters. I carry in me Thy seed, the spark of high-born Mind, but a spark
falling down to the depths of matter.
Thou art the Mind of minds, the
Soul of souls, the Nature of natures. Lo, I bend the knee before Thee, a
servant, I cast myself upon the ground, a blind suppliant; but do Thou, the
Giver of light, the light of Mind, take pity, O Blessed One, on my suppliant
soul; chase away diseases, chase away cares that gnaw the soul, and chase way
the shameless hound of the netherworld, the daimon of earth, from my soul, from
my prayer, from my life, from my works.
Let Thine immortal fire vivify my
soul and purge me. Thou only Sovereign, and Thou sole changeless one, give me
power and I will cause my brethren to know that Thou art their Saviour.
Do Thou, O King, kindle the
lights that lead upwards, do Thou light the gleam and the beacon by augmenting
the scanty seed in the noblest part of my mind. Enthrone me, O Father, in the
strength of the life-bringing life, where Imay remain undefiled and pure in Thy
presence.
Friday
AAA EEE ĒĒĒ III OOO UUU ŌŌŌ,
hail thou self-begotten One, thou supreme unity whence all things were made.
Thou art the Beginning, Guardian and Father of existing things, born without
birth, firmly enthroned above the pinnacles of heaven, proud in glory unwaning.
Thou sittest steadfast and unmoved, Thou the pure unity, and the first monad of
monads, begetting a duad of right and truth. Thou art the Lord of heaven and
earth; Thou art the creator of those who dwell in the heights and in the
depths. Thou art the seed of all good things, Thou art the infinite light. Thou
art crowned with ineffable beauty leaping out from Thy centre, and again
rushing back towards Thee. Thou art the universal Mind, the whole diffused into
the whole, vivifying the vast abyss of the Universe, and keeping guard upon
this very deep art Thou ever present, parted into forms diverse and multiform.
I invoke Thee Father, king of the Gods. Let a ray of Thy light leap forth to
illumine my path, and let it will unfold to me the field of mind, the beginning
of beauty. Thou art my lamp O Father, my beacon in the dark night of my
mortality. Hear me, Thou imperishable and boundless Light, God of Gods, mighty,
undefiled, indescribable, firmly established Aion.
Enkindle Thou my soul, that I may
rise and drink from Thy fountain of living waters, so that thus I may live in
Thee and never again thirst, for I invoke Thy creative principle, BADĒTOPHŌTH.
Let me move in harmony with Thine unapproachable essence, and become myself
divine. For Thy blessings I offer unto Thee a bloodless sacrifice worthy of
being heard, I offer up the humble words of my tongue, a libation of praise
from my heart; may it rise as incense toward Thee.
Bless me O Father. Renew me in
Thine image, clothe me in Thy garments of salvation; let my whole being reflect
Thy Pleroma that I may purge myself of the tormentors of matter and reunite
with Thee.
Saturday
Hear my prayer O Ruler of the
universe, NETHMOMAŌ MARKHAKHTHA KHTHAMAR ZAXTHTHARN MAKHAKH ZAROKOTHARA ŌSS
IAŌ OUĒ SIALŌR TITĒ EAĒ IAŌ ĒS ZEATHE AAA ĒEEOU THŌBARRABAU, Thou, the
ageless One, Lord, the begetter, nourisher and increaser of all. Who molded the
stars? Who found their routes? Who was the begetter of fruits? Who raiseth up
the mountains? Who commanded the winds to hold to their annual tasks? What Aion
nourishing an Aion ruleth the Aions? It is Thou, the eternal God. Thou art the
creator of all and assignest souls to all and controllest all, king of the
Aions and lord, before whom mountains and plains together tremble, springs and
streams of rivers and valleys of earth and spirits, and all things that are.
High shining heaven trembleth before Thee, and every sea, lord, ruler of all,
Holy one, and Master of all. By Thy power the elements exist and all things
come into being, the route of sun and moon, night and dawn— all things in air
and earth, in water and the breath of fire, and in the æther.
O Father cut Thou the knot, loose
Thou the grip of the lowly desires by which the daimons bend down souls to the
earth. Grant to me to escape the destiny of the body and to spring swiftly even
to Thy bosom, whence floweth forth the fountain of the soul. A heavenly drop I
am shed upon the earth. Do thou restore me to that fountain whence I was poured
forth. Grant me to mingle with the incorruptible light. And grant that, cared
for by Thee I may with the kingly choir bear aloft in sanctity the hymns of
Mind. Grant, O Father, that mingled with the light I sink not again into an
earthly destiny, but as long as I remain in the chains of a material life, let
a kindly fortune, O Blessed One, nurture me. May my life remain to me purified
of the tormentors, that in song I may comprehend the hidden root of all things,
and not be turned away from Thee by delusions that lead astray.
Mayest Thou always give holy
light replete with blessings to my soul, having purged the poisonous wiles of
matter, and to my body strength and gift-bestowing health. Thee, Blessed One, I
worship and invoke, Lord of the universe. Let me be conjoined with Thee, O
great one, for I have Thee in my heart, AŌ EĒ EŌĒI AIAĒ ŌĒ IŌAŌ EOĒE ŌĒI AAĒ
ŌĒIŌ.
